I love Miso soup. I was first introduced to it when I spent a weekend at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. They served it for breakfast! And since I was there to learn about health and nutrition I tried it and it changed the way I now look at meals.

I love soup in general all year long but especially in the Fall and Winter.

And I’ve gotten in the habit of bringing a thermos of Miso Soup with me when I travel in the winter. I particularly like keeping a thermos of it in my sled bag when I am out training with my sled dog team in chilly weather. What can I say? It just makes me feel good!

Today I read a great blog post by Irma Jennings a Bone Health Coach.
She writes that Mighty Miso Helps Build Healthy Bones.

I found this to be great news since, as a recreational musher in her 60’s, healthy bones are high on my priority list! So now I’m an even bigger fan of Miso soup. I love it when things I love are good for me too.
