The biggest problem with exercise and starting on a fitness or health regimen is that it takes commitment. I have spoken to many many people who say they are committed when it comes to eating healthier or starting on an exercise program but somehow they can’t make it happen.

Life always gets in the way it seems.

I’ve used that phrase myself over the years.

That was when I too was missing the point.

And what is the point?

The point is that life wouldn’t get in the way if eating healthy and staying fit was part of your life.

That’s why being healthy and eating healthy is a Lifestyle.

The program I teach is called the Transitions Lifestyle System because it is all about a lifestyle change. Something that becomes part of everyday living. It is your life so it can’t get in the way.

One of the BEST articles I’ve read about this topic is Getting Fit When Life Gets In The Way by Charles D’Angelo.
